Dr. Mabel Obi MA, MPH, FPHW, EDD (Founder, CEO)

About our Board

Dr. Mabel Obi is an educator, Public Health professional, Fashion Designer, and Television Producer.
She received her B.S in Health Science -Community Health option from California State University, Los
Angeles. Master in Education and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from University of
Phoenix, and Master in Public Health-Health Promotion from Liberty University. Dr. Obi earned a
Certificate in Strengthen Community Health Worker Program from Harvard University. During her
Practicum with International HELP Dr. Obi developed a Community Health Workers Training Program
for Oba town in Anambra State of Nigeria where 18 Community Health Workers were trained in
October 2019 just before the COVID-19. Dr. Obi had 20 years career teaching preschool and many
years volunteering with several non-profit organizations such as International HELP, GEANCO
Foundation, and US Doctors for Africa as well as sat on the board of United Nations Association,
Pasadena/Foothill Chapter, and Ivan & Ivon Charities.
